Searching completed Ebay auctions?

I was just curious if anyone knew of a way to search ebay's recent (say 60 day) history of completed auctions? I was thinking if it's possible, it would be a good way to go over back card sales, instead of using the 'watching' part and waiting for them to close.

  • If you go to the search box in the toolbar at the top of the e-bay page, click on it and then type in the year that you are looking for( be sure to put in a grade if you are looking for a specific grade as this will narrow down your search),then click on the box that says"completed auctions",it will let you search two weeks max(I think).Be sure to click the box on the bottom that lets you view up to 200 items on one page in order to have less pages to view. If you do this once every two weeks and then print it out,you will have a running recap of the sales.Hope this helps.

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.
  • correct
they USED to let you go back 30 days
but only let you search back 2 weeks now
    AND
you have to be logged in as a user to
    search for completed auctions....

now, if you have the item # or link to an auction
it will be available to view for 90 days,
but you can only SEARCH for it 2 weeks back.

Thanks for the info....I wish I could save these types of searches to my favorites file, but apparently you can't save 'completed' searches...anywho, I have a 1971 topps psa 7 search saved, I've found out I can pull that, click the 'completed' only tab, then re-search. Works like a charm!
