I am currently working on this 1964 Topps hockey set and I have been searching for a few difficult cards to add to my set. I am looking to purchase any 1964 Topps hockey tallboys along with a few PSA8's to add to my set. If anyone has the following PSA8's please e-mail me at georgepoulakos@rogers.com
The PSA8's I am currently searching for are #80 Bobby Rousseau PSA8(NQ), #91 Eric Nesterenko PSA8(NQ), #92 Marcel Paille PSA8(NQ) and the #110 Glen Hall PSA8(NQ). These are the PSA8's I am currently looking to purchase along with any PSA9's. If anyone has any of these cards please e-mail me at georgepoulakos@rogers.com

Many years back, a few very nice vending cases were made
into sets. People scoffed them up and should grade high
once they make it to PSA. They are all in collectors hands right now,
but I'm sure some should show up eventually. Good luck !!!
wow!

Are you sure that they were vending and not just a very high grade group ??
I collected boxes for a very long time and never saw or heard of a tall boy vendor.
I have watched auction catalogues for at least the last 15 years and have never seen a hint of a tall boy vending box for Fb, Bskt or Hcky.
I have been around the hobby since the late 70's and have never heard of the likes.
If it was truly vending, it would be insightful news to me.
Thanks,

Any boxes of what ????
Have never seen any tall boy vending but have seen and owned a boatload of other things.

The cards never made it to an auction house.
Years ago they were sold in Ontario and immediately
were sold to collectors. No one ever heard about them
because they were sold instantly.
As a matter of fact, there was still a 1965-66 topps hockey
vending case in Manitoba a few years back. My guess is that
it is still intact because the asking price was very large.
There is a small debate about pre-70 vending cases in hockey.
It depends on what you've seen. I have seen them and have
gone through some. You only got them if you ordered them from
o-pee-chee. Some dealers/collectors have never seen them because
very few were ordered, but they ABSOLUTELY existed.
Last year I was going through a couple pre-70 hockey vending case
that had the OPC London Ontario stamp on the case.
Many of the cards remain ungraded and in perfect 9 MINT or
DSL 10 condition.
