P.S. ...just kidding around... all in good fun.
When I was in college 25 years ago (and all sorts of distractions seemed more interesting than coins), I met one of my idols, tenor saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, in a men's room. In a rush to introduce myself before he left, I shook his hand, but he said nothing during my nervous, awed fan talk. He just looked at my hands and returned to the sink where he washed his hands again.
Five years later, when I was a Peace Corps volunteer, almost the same thing happened in a hotel rest room in Lome', Togo, but with saxophonist/Afro-Pop giant Manu Dibango. At least I met him on my way into the men's room when I saw Manu Dibango washing his hands.
Do you suppose Pharoah Sanders or Manu Dibango collect coins?
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Yeah, but then you have to grab the dirty handle to get out. How come bathroom doors open in, instead of out?

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !

I do, but feel guilty throwing it on the floor when there's no garbage can close enough to the door
On his way out of the men's room, the blue blood upperclassman stopped the freshman from North Carolina and said to him in a very high brow and stuffy manner "Where I come from, they teach us to wash our hands after we use the facilities". To which the Tarheel replied "Where I come from, they teach us not to p*ss on our hands".
