I have been collecting the P&D SQ's in a Dansco Album since it started in 99. All of the coins except the 2004's have developed a golden hue color to them. I have 2 questions on this' is this a normal characteristic of coins kept in albums? The second question,is this considered an AT coin or just normal toning? All coins have come from the mints uncirculated annual sets, both the P & D tone which leaves me to believe that its the album that turning them. Any ideas on how to correct this or should I just let them tone?
Thanks

As to the issue of whether it's AT or NT: Who cares?
Here are some Kennedy halve that were in a Dansco for about 11 years:
I've seen Ikes and Kennedys with this toning. Here's an Ike:
This coin I bought holdered but it is clearly a Dansco toned coin. My Ikes have done NOTHING in the holder however and my other Washingtons haven't either. It's the luck of the draw I suppose.
