Early Commemoratives

What is your thoughts on the upside of Vintage US Commems? Am I wrong or are the mid grade MS-60-64 silver commems undervalued? The mintage is fairly low. Why the lack of value compared to many other US coins with low mintage of this age?

Demand and Supply. Right now, supply is more than demand. When someone wants to corner the market, demand will overcome the supply image

Hopefully it will stay like that until I have completed the series...

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • If you get into vintage commems, be sure to buy ones with lots of luster. There's a lot of coins out there with high grades on the slabs that have dull or dirty looking finishes. Commems in particular seem to have a lot of ugly looking coins in high grade holders. I honestly don't see how they made the grades on the holders looking like they do.
