2004 Mint sets

any thoughts on how these sets will fair? since they have the 2 nickels my thought is they will be collectable... (similar to the 2001 set but not as much as the 1999 set)

If anything they will be like the 1996 mint sets and only worth about $10-$15 more than issue price.
Mint sets don't tend to go up very much in value (with the exception of the first years)

Heres my take on the Proof sets.

1999-2008,silver and clads to complete the entire SHQ set
You will have examples of the Keel boat and peace medal Jeffs.

Maybe pick up the Commems as well.

The 2009 Proof set should Bookend the SHQ program nicely as would should see some type of change in the cent for the 100th Anniv. !

That would almost qualify as a hoard !

Well I ended up buying 10 of each (silver/proof/uncirc) probably could have/should have held off on the uncircs...but figured i would get em all... (these are for the kids)...

I buy 2 each for the kids each year.... but because of the nickels thought i would get a few more..
