I have a Australia penny from 1941. How much is the value?

    In the 2005 Standard Catalog of World Coins a 1941 KM#36 in at least Fine grade, is valued between 25¢ and $1,600, depending on mint mark, condition, and whether it is a proof or business strike.

    what if there is no mint mark on it?

    If there truly is no mint mark, then it should be from the Melbourne mint. Values range from $0.30 - $45.

    However, look a little closer. You may see the initials KG above the roo's tail. Is so, then it is from the Perth mint. If no initials are present then look for a dot after the word "PENNY". This too is from the Perth mint. Values range from $0.25 - $90.
