I Like eBay's Second Chance Offer

Yesterday, a coin I was offering sold. It ended and this morning. I offered an identicle coin to the underbidder and two hours later, I got a paypal payment. image

I offered another auction to two more underbidders. I wonder if they will take me up on the offer. image

    I bid on a Morgan dollar awhile back. Coinsite said it was rare. It only had a few minutes left and looked like it would go cheap. I put down a max bid of $100. It went for $250 and 9 people outbid me. I received a second chance offer that said either the buyer backed out or the seller had duplicate items. I assumed it was a scam. I figured there was no way he had enough coins and backed out buyers to cover the other 9 people. I have heard of people being contacted by someone other then the seller. I hope yours sell because I'm sure you're legit, but I choose to err on the side of caution when I'm the buyer.

    Well, all you need to do is look at the seller in the second chance offer and look at the auction you lost. If they are the same people, then it should be legit. Of course, I am sure someone could spff that stuff too.

    I have never been given a second chance offer, but I would look closely if I was given a chance.

    It is not a big deal if the other two coins do not sell, but it would save me time if they do sell.

    As for having enough coins to support the offers, of these particular coins, I have many of them. Out of all the ones PCGS has graded, about 10% to 12% were mine. I am almost out of them now though. I am keeping two for my own collection and the remaining (currently abot 4 more graded coins) are being sold. I have 5 at PCGS right now. After that, that is it. There will not be any more offered by me unless I find some fresh rolls of them.

    I bought a Pirates of the Carbian Movie poster with 14 autographs in 2nd chance offer got it for 150 less then the 1st one went for shipper was a little slow buit did get it to me along with a bonus poster Joyride with 3-4 autographs for my trouble
