Opinions needed Canadian large cent

I was browsing the last few minutes of ebay auctions when I ran across the Canadian large cent. However, I think it looks funny what do you all think?

It's the color....or maybe I am just not good with copper. It's one of those bad feelings so I'm passing.
  • Looks like normal Canadian toning to me, nice VFish (+) coin.

It was the seller's feedback. Seems they send the wrong items at times. Oh well, there will be others I'm sureimage By the way how are ya spinaker2000? Well I hopeimage
  • doing fine thank you. image Waiting on some cool stuff to arrive. I picked up two SA proof sets, '58 and '59. That completes my date run of nine coin sets from 1952- 1960.

Looks VF+ to me, but the pic is a little out of focus. Charlton lists VF at $8 Canadian, EF at $12 Canadian. Good decision to pass.

I have a nice EF duplicate if your interested. I'll post a scan shortly.

Tough to tell from the photo. It does look a little "smooth" to me. Could be original, or perhaps cleaned and retoned. Like I said, tough to tell.

I passed because to me the coin looked cleaned and retoned. There was just something about it that made me feel uncomfortable. I am not good on coppers yet. Thanks all for the helpimage
