Pretty stupid for the seller to put his grubby paws all over it, but you can see that he's touching the obverse and reverse without wearing a glove. With that said, I would not have thought that it would have left a print so quickly........can you dip it in acetone to remove the prints since they're fresh???
Okay, I guess I'm busted. It was meant to be a tongue-in-cheek post but humor doesn't always translate well in this medium, especially if you dont know the (im)poster.
Humor on here sometimes is in short supply. But hey this coin I posted was the subject of my very first post on here. I am still trying to figure out what caused the rim dent at one o'clock on this coin. I asked then and got no good answer.
Well, with that nasty rim cut at 10:30 on the reverse I don't think you have to worry too much about the fingerprint. Since it's a fresh fingerprint, acetone should remove it nicely.
I'm glad for you that the fingerprint is a photoshopped one..... but this reminds me of one of my big ebay gripes. I HATE it when I see nice looking coins in ebay auctions where the seller has their grubby, greasy fingers all over the coin!!! You would think that coin sellers would have a little more common sense........
My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable !
