Can someone figure out this Heritage sale?

I have been shopping for a nice early dollar and due to the dearth of coin sellers in my area, I have been looking at ebay, teletrade, heritage, etc. While I am familiar with ebay, I am new to heritage and teletrade.
In the course of my travels, I see this distinctive, (due to the racing stripe), 1795 flowing hair dollar that sold on the Heritage website on August 18, 2004 for $5,002.50
Heritage 8/18/04 sale
Then I find where the exact same coin seems to sell on ebay the very next day for $4,200.00.
Ebay 8/19/04 sale
Then within a matter of days it is on ebay again with a different seller:
New Ebay Auction
Is this sort of thing common on Heritate? Is there shill bidding that occurs? How do those "floor auctions" actually work?
