I thought the guys down in florida could use a little humor this morning....
So please identify the PKOK!
All kidding aside, is this what a clad PKOK looks like?
Okay, I adjusted the lighting and reposted the photo, I am still a little confused as to what the difference is.
Mr. Sego, maybe you can explain to me exactly what the peakok hoard is, how many coins there were,
and other vital statistics so I can refer to them when I need to. Just like someone would refer to an overton book for half dollars etc etc etc.....

"Indian peafowl Pavo cristatus".
oops, sorry, I think the coin is well on the way, but I would feel it needs more contrasting and color myself.
Of course maybe the photos washed out the rich colors.

No. PKOK doesn't refer to the color pattern -- it refers to a distinct special group of "toned" coins from a certain "hoard."

For 1976-D type II Ike dollar, this is THE PKOK (from Sego collection) and click the 1976-D type 2 camera.
Best reference is the Wexler/Flynn Ike book.
They all have the same distinct look.
Look at my 72/74-S. Go under teh Ike Registry Sets.
The clads MS all have the same look, but different from the MS Silvers
Proofs have yet another look, all the same however.
Much mystery around this hoard.
Do a search for PKOK within PCGS, there have been many threads addressing this hoard, origins, numbes etc.
Bottom line is no one knows for sure anything except what the coins look like!
