    good question... I have no experience in terms of participating in this program, however, if it is a significant coin in a series that you really like, I would be inclined to send it in. I would offer your thoughts in writing and give PCGS the opportunity to explain in writing why your view may be incorrect. The knowledge that you gain (right or wrong) may be worth what you pay... that is if the evaluation they provide is thorough.

    Basically I'd say yes, unless the coin is really strong. A 65 would have to be a 65.5 in my experience. Like it or not, understand it or not, they are prejudiced with crossovers. That's why PCGS coins are typically harder graded and almost always bring significant premiuns in auction. That's my experience.
