My neighbor has 4,000 rolls of circulated wheat pennies (don't ask me why) that he would like to sell. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Doesn't seem to be any shortage of people willing to overpay badly for wheat cents on ebay. Just sell them as multiple auctions of "X pounds of unsearched wheat cents" so people don't know how many they are going to get. That's probably the way to get the most money, but also with the most work.
I remember seeing an ad in CW or NN recently where someone was paying 4c each for wheats, but that was delivered to the buyer. If such a dealer is in driving range, it might be a good alternative. Shipping would be prohibitive. Heck, if a dealer within driving distance would pay 2c each, I'd take it.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I'd sell them as rolls on Ebay myself. Unfortunately, I'd have to look through them first myself, too irresistable for me.
But I'd be honest about it though on Ebay.

I think he'll only take BU ones.
I also love to go through rolls to find coins.
