HSN- Proof sets only $4,000... get them while you can

I see on the Home Shopping Network that they are advertising all the proof sets from 1952-1960 for only $4,000-. I know, we live in a free enterprise environment and I love it more than anybody, but isn't the price a touch high

Yeah...like being touched with a sledge hammer.
  • Here is the link so you don't miss out.

Unfortunately, it looks like you can only order 9 sets at a time.

The dude selling them recomends not opening them. I collect coins, not evelopes

  • I collect coins, too, like the poster above said. I was seriously thinking of going for one of those offers of bulk, unopened PF sets that you see from time to time. Once in a while someone comes up with an original, unopened, case of 100 of a particular year. I think it would be fun to go through a bulk lot like that, not knowing what might be inside. Of course if it was a case of 1964 sets, you'd have to fight with Russ and Marty over them first. image
