Anyone know where to find decent Reggie Jackson rookies?

I've been looking for a PSA 8 on eBay for several months and not a single one has surfaced. Pop report says 262 exist in 8's. I'd like to find one that is at least 70/30 centered, but no such luck. That is one of the harder cards to find centered in that entire set it seems like. Only 17 out of 1921 got 9's, that's way less than 1%.

Anyone have any ideas on where to find one or have one they are looking to sell or trade?

I think Reggie himeself has a good amount of these. Or, he did before the fire in his house.

I checked about a dozen dealer websites and I coudn't find one graded above a PSA 6. Although there has not been an eBay sale of a PSA 8 nq Reggie Jackson rookie since 06/12, there have been 17 sales year-to-date. With an average of 2 per month, I'm sure that you will see a few before too long. Good luck.

I believe the $675 is for a PSA 8 not a PSA 7.

I bought this PSA 8 on eBay in May for $435, almost full SMR. Be prepared to pay the same or higher for a well-centered copy. Very hard to find.

I'd be willing to pay up to $500 for a centered one in an 8 actually, I think that's a pretty reasonable price considering SMR is $450. Ed's is nice, but $575 is too much. I wrote him and offered him $500 but no response yet. I don't need the card, or any card for that matter, just something that I would like to add to my collection.

Back when I was 13, in the 80's, I bought a pretty nice one for $50. Problem is, I thought I could make it look even nicer, so in my infinite immaturity and ignorance at the time, I went and dabbed white out on a couple corners. Even though it looked like complete crap, I must have thought differently at the time because I also did it to a beautiful 69 Ryan, which I has also paid $50 for, as well as my 69 Carew. I still have all 3 cards and it irks me every time I look at them. Completely worthless.
