I've opened two roll sets of my Keel boat nickels. I have on D mint that should go MS67, and 7 P mints struck through what appears to be paper. On the Strike Throughs, low end is one sided perhaps 5%. Upper end is 95% of a reverse.

Cool! Can you sort of see the progression if you line them up?
Photos, please!

A strike through is when there is a foreign object or debris between the die and planchet as the coin is struck. It results in a mark/depression the size/shape of which are determined by the object. On rare occaisions, the object becomes embedded or attached to the coin. Most common is struck through grease or small bits of wire/string.
For these where I think it was paper, the nickel design is all there, just portions of it have a different surface texture that looks like the tiny wood fibers of paper. On the one that covers nearly the entire reverse, it almost looks like a lightly circulated and sand papered coin, but the obverse has none.
BNE,
There are two nearly identical, another that looks like most of it fell away, and I don't remember on the others. If I get time I'll get some images up.
