Sure. If you want a dealer to keep an eye out for stuff you might like, it's only fair to let them know when you no longer need something. Why waste their time and yours?

Well, I give them target ranges when I do. There are only a few dealers I'll do an extened want list with. If they get one and it's in my target range in the quality that I'm looking for, I have to this point, always bought them.
