My latest 1940-S MS67 quarter

I've had several people ask what my latest 1940-S quarter looks like, so hopefully I'm doing this correctly so that people can see it. It's a really nice toner and I was lucky to find it. I seem to get lucky every once in a while. It seems like when I'm just doing a little net surfing now and then, I stumble upon a coin with beautiful toning when I'm not expecting it...nothing more than luck on my part.

Wow, I never expected such a response! Thanks for the kind words, everyone! Someone asked why this coin isn't an MS68. Here's why: the coin has incredible color and luster, however there are a few marks (nothing significant) which keep it limited to MS67 status. Suffice to say, I think it's accurately graded. If the coin's merit was based solely on esthetic appeal, then it would be a higher grade. I love it and don't think I could ever find one that is prettier. I have some white coins and like the ones I have very much, but when I find a toner like this, I will take it every time over a white coin. I'm a sucker for pretty toning! I believe this will coin probably rank as one of the top 2 or 3 prettiest coins in my set. Like I said, I got lucky. And by the way, thanks, Todd!

The colors and pattern of the toning are nice, but is it as grainy as the pic appears?

No, there is no grainyness to the surfaces of this coin whatsoever, it's as smooth as glass. The coin looks much prettier than does the image.
