PCGS Grading Costs and Other Qs

I am sure this topic has been mentioned here ad nauseum, but how aren't there two cost option for PCGS grading? A $30 speedy service and a $15 slow boat service? Aside from PCGS promotions for joining, what is the cost per coin? and how long does it take? I am looking to send a coin thru a dealer who is a PCGS member, and he's done it for me before long ago. I forgot how much he charged me. I'm wondering if there are dealers out there that charge a small fee to have coins sent. Last Q...I heard that you send PCGS coins via flips...what kind of flips? the all plastic or the cardboard/staple variety? thanks in advance!

You pay for speed, basically. So you can pay $12 for a modern, $16 for a classic valued < $300 (and not gold) or pay more for speed. So you can pay more than $30 to get even faster service.

Yes, PCGS wants non-pvc flips. They prefer 2.5 inches sq but can accomodate 2 inch ones. They will not accept cardboard holders and will reject anything with staples.
