Questions on this Bust Half

Is this the normal letter or Large Letter variety?

This one came in the mail a couple days ago. Again, would sincerely appreciate your help with attribution and grade opinion. Thank you

Edited to add: The edge has some sort of crack on it...never seen this before, can any of you explain it?

Looks VF30 to me... too much wear and looks like no or little luster... certainly not enough there for XF, IMHO... as for the edge, looks like maybe a planchet flaw? This was before the time of the closed collar...

Looks VF35 to me but I do not know about the attribution

Elwood is right with O-116. VF-30 in grade.

I would grade it VF, but it has been thoroughly cleaned in the past, and is starting to retone in a splotchy way........

Does anyone know if this is the Large Letter variety for this year?

The only two varieties that are classified as having the Large Letter Reverse are Overton 101 and 101a. On these two varieties there is a heavy die break at the left wing which is impossible to miss. Your coin is definitely not the Large Letter variety which by the way is a fairly common coin.

Yeah I've been told mine is the O-116....so I'm assuming that is the small letter variety. Thanks for the info
