Regional Deals

This may be a dumb question, but are there parts of the country that have depressed values on certain coins? For example the state quarters, are New Hampshire quarters cheaper on the west coast and vice versa? Are there areas of the country where you can get better deals on coins because the area is depressed or the area is so loaded with coin dealers that the prices are pulled down? Or has eBay leveled the field so no one has to keep prices down to make a living?

There are certainly areas where some coins are more readily available, but I've
never noticed much variation in price. Before the internet there was a little var-
iation because of local imbalances between supply and demand. Retirement areas
and other places coins tended to flow might occasionally have yielded some bargains.
