The reason I won't get mad is it's not my coin. It's graded MS67 and the next closest is a 64. From the picture I never would have called it even close to MS67- the obverse field looks like it has had some work done to it in my opinion also. I hope the owner is not a member of this board or else I am in trouble. mike

Once again, it all depends on the luster which doesn't seem to be captured well here. The hits out in front of Lib's eyes would seem to keep it out of a 67 grade but if the luster is blast then...... ???

That was one of the last coins Jung bought for his fabulous collection (in November 2003) before he sold his collection in July 2004 with his tremendous ANR Auction.

He paid $20,700 and sold it in July 2004 for $21.400 or so including the juice. He actually lost some money on this coin.

I actually was a weak underbidder for this coin at Heritage but after I saw the coin at ANR offices in New Hampshire, I realized that I would not dare bid over the MS-66 price for this coin. But to add insult to injury, I ended up liking the coin less and less.

Looks 64ish to me. Try submitting it though. You might be surprised. And I did notice the hairline looking thing above the eagles wing under the word trust.

Can't get in trouble for offering up an opinion. The coin looks real nice in the images. I don't think I would have guessed ms/67 from those scans, but ms/65 seemed in line. In hand the coin could knock your socks off, and those field hits probably are light grazes and not as significant as they look in the pic.
