What would the value of this be?

Lets say a lot of 200,000 singles all from 98-2004, stars, rookies (nothing #ed) and commons. What is
a fair asking price for these?

The cards range from premium brands to topps basic. You could probably get a lot of base sets from these.

LMK
Thanks
Kevin

It'll probably cost more to ship them than they are worth. Donate them to a charity organization that deals with kids and take a tax write off, you'll get more financial benefit that way than you would selling them, as you could write them off for their book value.

I agree. Donate them to a children's hospital, grade school, or if little league is still going on in your area; take them there. I think you'd benefit more from the joy on kid's faces than trying to haul it all off in a single sale. Burbank Sportscards generally sell 5000 count boxes with stars, some rookies, and commons with nothing major for about $10 - $15 per. I guess you have 40 of the 5000 count boxes. That's $400 - $600, but factor in the discount for the whole lot and someone might pay about $200 for everything. Shipping alone will probably cost you about that much or more so you won't make anything, then pay the listing fees and final value and you're in the negative for all the trouble and work.

It's been said before, but I would reccomend donating them to a children's hospital. I have a friend who is a doctor at a children's hospital in St. Louis and does a "Cards for Kids" drive during the holiday season every year. It's a great way to get rid of duplicate/unwanted cards, and the kids love them...especiall current Cardinals. If interested, drop me an email and I can get you some more info.
