Submissions

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that it is strange that PCGS can't get coins submitted at a show, entered into their system in less than 8 days???? It kind of makes you feel that they take a 7 day break on your 15 day guarantee for a regular submission. That is just MHO.image

That is how long it takes the pony express horses to get from PA to CA!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Marty,

I had not considered that. They probably only have one horse!!!

    beartracks,

Same thing here, I submitted two orders at the show thinking I would get ahead or at least in with the crowd of ones going back to CA. They were just entered into the system today. CS said they had recieved a record number of submissions at the show, and some were still coming in as of today. wow!

One small thing to keep in mind is that they Brinks the coins back to the office which usually takes 2-3 business days.

I have wondered this as well. Even allowing 7 days for a registered package to get from MI to CA, it takes several more days to get entered into the system. This is especially true for economy submissions. There have been times where I have received my Return Receipt before the coins were entered.

Maybe their perfomance will improve now that they are giving vouchers out for being late!
