    What a freaking joke! We all know these guys were just overpaid jerks, but when you had them all together
    here in the US shooting 50% from the free throw line it makes everyone look the same. Then when you actually
    have to play someone who wants to win then it shows.

    Has Carmello blown up yet? I hope they lose the next game too!

    This is what happened when you have a team of young punks who have Allen Iverson (are they kidding or what????) as Team Captain. HOW CAN ANYONE EXPECT THAT GUY TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
    People really must stop calling the US basketball team the "Dream Team."
    The "Dream Team" was the first one. Finest team ever assembled on earth.
    We will be lucky to win bronze. Even if we do it is still a big disgrace.
    I don't care how good the other teams have gotten over the last 10 years, there is absolutely NO REASON why the U.S. should not win gold in basketball every 4 years.

    I can tell Wannabe King James is heading down that path of Iverson after hanging out all night with him on Day 1 and getting suspended from play.
    It truly amazes me how Larry Brown could name Iverson Team Captain.
    Brown of all people knows better than that.
    Young punks...young, rich punks that don't care about anything but weed, jewelry and tattooes.

    I agree with Mintluster's view that we should reserve the handle "Dream Team" for the first pro squad...that was an awsome compilation of talent and a class act. This year's crew should be dubbed "NBA Knuckleheads."
    Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
