CALLING ALL BOWMAN CHROMIES! Introducing 2004 Bowman Draft Picks

I just posted this on the Beckett boards, but figured some of you might be into this. As you know, all companies are allowed to produce products with draft picks in them this year. Obviously Topps, while quaking in its boots at this prospect, knew they had to step up their game.

And in my opinion, they did.

Ill believe it when all the packs are open and all the cards are counted. If you check the tiny small print
you will notice that all this can change and in the past is HAS changed. Topps is notorious for screwing
up products right before they came out. Originals was good example of that. Also beware of a bunch
of redemptions. Topps is in a great hurry to get your money, but after that they take their sweet time.

Good Luck on that Delmon 1/1!

Other than Billy Butler and Seth Smith in the base set, it's pretty weak. Hopefully on those TBD cards there's a Tuiasosopo. With Stephen Drew, Jered Weaver and a few other top picks unsigned, this product is looking very weak in comparison to 2002 and 2003.

Then the checklist will probably change quite a bit. I hope so, as there are lots of good prospects who weren't in Bowman/Chrome and have no cards yet. Ray Liotta and Billy Buckner? Huh.
