They probably would slab, but why on earth would you want to spend $30+ per coin to slab them???!! image
PS - the 1940-D is the only one that probably wouldn't slab. Anyway, the coins are worth about $1-$2 each tops...why slab them?

Well, you could slab every non problem coin by PCGS. But these aren't worth that, 'cause they are circulated. There are only a few dates worth slabbing in circulated grades (mainly 1916-D 1921-(p) and 1921-D)

i disagree. you should definitely get 'em slabed. ALL coins should be slabed! w/out plastic, you can't enjoy collecting coins!!!

  • Was just curious if it would be worth it as they all have almost full bands. But not as good as these

Full bands are only important in Mint State grades. Otherwise, it's a non-factor and won't be denoted by any of the TPG's. In short, they would "be" a waste of money.
  • Ah.....so it would just be better for me to get a Whitemans book and just collect to fill? I have quite a few.

    Thanks!!!!

In that case go to SEGS. image

Seriously, common circulated Mercs aren't worth slabbing. You're throwing your money away if you do. If you want to enjoy your coins get a dansco album. They make nice displays. Here's a site to look at...

  • Like the others have said, lower grade circ Mercs aren't worth the slabbing fee... there are only a few dates that are, and they are mostly from the teens and twenties. 40s date Mercs are very common in even Gem Mint grade... and the FB designator is only given to UNC coins... the only circulated Mercs from the 40s worth slabbing, are the 42/41 overdates from Philly and Denver... image
