    Lee, I never get tired of admiring your Deckle Bench. I'd find ways to show it off, too, if it was mine!

    I think I'll go against the theme of top grades with a VG-EX card I submitted recently. I just think it's pretty cool, and very few of 'em graded. Only five 1951 Redlegs (top grade is PSA 6) and 60 from all the teams combined (top grade is PSA 8). Trying to get B.J. to set up a Topps Reds team card set, of which I would be the charter member. The first and rarest is this one, then from 1956-68, none in 1969, then 1970-81.

    It's not great, but this the best out of my only submission so far to PSA (my freebies):

    I knew it wasn't a 9, but figured if I ever wanted to sell it I would need to get it graded. I'm happy with the 8.

    Hey Sean, just being authenticated as NOT counterfeit is the big thing with that card. Anything extra is gravy!

    Exactly why I graded it. I've had it in my collection for almost 10 years, and was sure that it wasn't a fake, but with all of the bad ones out there, I knew that if I ever wanted to sell I'd need to get it slabbed. At some point I'll probably use it to help defer the cost of an upgrade to a PSA 9. As it is, it works nicely with this:
