ebay question - sorry! ;)

A while back I bid on a fake trade dollar and got a nasty neg for my trouble. Now I see the bozo is no longer a registered user. Does that mean I can get the neg removed? Or am I still stuck with it. image

You can pay SquareTrade $25 to get it removed. Since the seller won't contest it, there shouldn't be any problem (other than the $25)

TDN, based upon my experiences, I'd say you're stuck. Sorry.

I think I have 3 negatives on my account (I don't want to look to see the painful reminders), all from now-non-registered users, whose scams I exposed. Still, Ebay would not remove the negatives.image

Edited to add: I didn't try the Square Trade route mentioned by Relayer.
  • I like the follow up on one of that sellers other negative feedbacks. It goes something like "this guy grades like he spells" Ha, Ha, Ha image

Sorry, I don't know if you can get your only neg feedback removed. They *should* go away or at least turn neutral when the other party gets NARU'd...

I see the POS nailed a few others with retaliatory negs before eBay finally did the right thing. They'll NARU a legit user for trying to protect bidders from scumbags, but they let garbage like this stand.
