1798 Bust $1, Close 3 Variety on cert, but doesn't show on pop reports

Anyone know why PCGS does attribute this variety (Close 3) but not list it on the pop report?

I don't know a lot about bust dollars so I've got to ask, Why would a 1798 dollar have a "Close 3" variety?

Condor.....NOW that's a darned good question. Perhaps what I have it an insert printing error. I thought it just unusual that the insert notes this but it doesn't show on the pop report AND it doesn't show as a variety/designation in the Registry listings....then again, perhaps I am remembering wrong and its a close 8? Will have to check the slab tonite...
