What are 1917 T1 Quarters in PCGS MS-65 FH selling for

I was just wondering if anyone has bought or sold a 1917 T1 SLQ in PCGS MS-65 FH in the last little while? If so, or if you have witnessed a sale would you mind sharing the final price?

Many thanks!image

Aethelred , I sold a decent one for $1200 to a dealer last week.
  • That is a beautiful coin. One without the FH designation (but close) would be a much better value at half the price.

I sold a blast-white, razor-sharp 1917 T1 in a PCGS MS64 FH holder for four hundred and some bucks a year and a half to two years ago, I think it was. I miss it. It would rank on my top ten list of past personal faves. I'll bet a nice gemmy 65 FH is a sight to behold.

Thanks guys, just wondering if I should sell one. Think I'll have a look at what they are doing on eBay.

Three of my very best beauties drove off in a '66 T-Bird. (Note his new icon.)

My old Registry type set required three SLQ's. That one was my favorite, though probably the least valuable of the trio. There was also this 1917-D T2 in PCGS 64 FH, and a 1930 in 65 FH (which I believe went to tradedollarnut, maybe).

This coin was the most valuable of the three but my least favorite.

A year ago I picked up an NGC 65FH in a Heritage auction for $930.

This one is a beauty, if you don't choke on the price.
