The bottom of the certificate says something about the ANA World's Fair of Money, New York. Can't make out the date.image

Is that Michael Fuljenz' sig on the Certificate of Authenticity?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • I was going to bid but I just can't bring myself to do it since it is missing that screw.

Geez, I bet whoever paid $7.6 million for the Farouk specimen is smacking his forehead right now! ala Homer Simpson "d'OH!" image
  • Back in my early days of collecting I almost purchased one of these thinking it was the real deal, I didn't know any better.image

Am I blind? Where is the date 1933 anywhere on that "coin?" OK, I looked again and finally found the date hiding in the rays of the obverse.
  • Russ,

Thank you for the alert posting. I would have never forgiven myself
if I had missed the chance for a 1933 Saint!! image

At least the scan says copy, but I am surprised that he is claiming that
they were made by the US mint instead of some private press.
