Personally, I kind of see us as friendly hound dogs.

  • Yes! But you remember, this IS cyberspace!

I am still not jaded yet to bad folks; they get theirs in the end!image
  • Mike is right.
Most of us are good guys.
(there are always a few bad apples)

but I am not really a hound dog...
I am more of a mutt.

I met your dad about 20 years ago at an old timers game at fenway park... he was a really nice fellow... signed lots of autographs for folks and I got a great picture of him in his Indians cap... though I never saw him play, I will always hold him in high regard because he was so friendly that day.

  • Thanks for that!

My Dad was unique, to put it mildly! I have some things from that Old Timers Game so it is good to hear you were there!

I was in Cleveland in 98 for the 50th Celebration of the World Series and was amazed at seeing all the old players (Dad included) ride out on the field in the vintage ragtops and watching the interaction in the clubhouse... things you hear about but don't "know" when you are a child! Putting faces to names, as it were!

Do you have some favorite items from your dad's career? Can you share? Can you provide scans? Pics?
    Would be fun to experience
