PCGS certifies Cook Island pornographic coins but not PMMs

    Pat, PCGS will grade and holder your quarter, they just won't designate it as you wish.
    I'm sure if someone wanted the Cook Island coins designated PCGS would also not honor that request.

    The cook Island coin is a coin with the appendage of a ficticious God hanging down. Now that image is five times more pornographic than the PMMs image which doesn't even show the appendage. The PMM is a US COIN, and the Cook Island coin is not. I am even more mad now that coin grading companies refuse to honor the PMM with the proper designation.

    Pat, you're getting a bit 5150 on us here...

    PCGS will grade your PMM as they do the CI coins.

    (By the way, PCI offers a new service now that allow YOU to designate up to 16 letters on the insert! That might be one route to take, get PCI to acknowledge the PMM on the insert and then try to cross it into PCGS! Just a thought...)

    Someday the PMM will be recognized by the Grading Services.

    Personally, I'd like to see the Arkansas (Clinton Hummer) quarter recognized. Destined to be one of Numismatics all time great novelty coins. By the way, somebody needs to buy a handful of those and distribute them at the opening of the Clinton Library. Maybe, just scatter them about the place and watch as people find them.

    ANACS will put most anything you want on a slab for a buck extra. Why not send it to them?

    I have a PR69DCAM Silver Mass Quarter. Just happends to be a PMM and is designated as an Error with a die crack at 8PM.
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    Pornogrphic? I don't consider it to be pornographic. Or at least no more pornographic than Michelangeo's David. What is pornographic? Even the courts haven't been able to define it.

    Then pony up your $30 and submit it under Error service, it will come back REVERSE DIE CRACK AT 8PM. That is the correct way and RIGHT way.

    Sorry, man. IMHO, the only people who would "scandalously" nickname and repeatedly call attention to what is otherwise a completely uninteresting die crack is someone who has a handful and who thinks they might be able to make a buck on it.

    Very good! And a German coin is not a U.S. coin. Niether is an English coin. Oh man, what about those Middle Eastern coins with all that crazy sratching they call writing they are not U.S. coins. Surely PCGS can't be slabing those now can they?image

    As many have said PCGS will grade your PMM thingy. It just may not be designated as you may like.

    Get over it. What would you do if you had of found the coin before slabs? Beg someone to write it on the 2x2? And casual day at school is more pornographic than the Cook Islands dollars. There's a difference between art and indecency, you know, and I'd have to say that writing "P****** Minuteman" on a slab is closer to the latter.
