For the next 15 years, every time I read about how well he did, it's going to make me sick. He should 've stayed a Met! Somehow, though, I wish him well. It's not his fault that the Mets' management sucks.
Wise men learn more from fools than fools learn from the wise.

Their highest prospect in your system and one of the highest in baseball period and you trade him for a 4th starter ?
A lefty that has great stuff and you panic and trade him for a guy like Zambrano ?
Even if your the Mets and you see something in him that you don't think fits for the Mets or their future the last thing you do is come out in public and start saying you think he's the type of pitcher that will breakdown because of his size and mechanics. Or say that he dosen't have they type of makeup for N.Y before you deal him . DUMB MOVE . Hype the heck out of the guy like the Yankees used to do with their prospects ( i.e Roberto Kelly ) and THEN trade him.
METS upper management is absolutely CLUELESS
