While I don't specifically suspect it on *this* coin, when someone on eBay says "greenish patina" or mentions green color on the coin, my first suspicion is usually PVC.
I agree, as that was my first thought also. After looking at the auction pic i thought differently because of the seemingly uniform appearance throughout <sp?> the entire surface.
I just thought i'd post the question to those who are more knowledgable than me about such things.
I need one of these for my type set but upon further inspection of this one i'm sure i'm gonna pass on it.
Still curious as to what might have caused the 'greenish patina'.

I guess perfect condition = XF/AU grade.
