Conder History & Info

I've been chatting lately with Bill McKivor -- the specialist (this side of the Atlantic, btw) in Conder tokens from whom most of you have been buying (the Sorceror sees all and knows all!) -- more about Kaiser automobiles -- his other fav collection -- than Conders. Although I'm sure it's been posted before, I wanted to offer a link to his website, The Copper Corner for the sake of any who've missed it. He has a lot of history on Conder tokens and other copper emergency coinage that's worth browsing through!
I've tried to get him to join us, but his business keeps him hopping a bit much, although I do hope he signs up and maybe drops in from time to time. (Are you reading this, Bill?)

Those especially are surreal.
So far all my Conder purchases have been through Bill McKivor with many more sure to come. He does not offer any pictures but he does describes them very well and gives you the option to return anything you do not like for a full refund. ( I have not returned any )
As far as the Bouton and Watt pieces he has on his website the George III Britannia patterns make me drool. That is some awesome copper.

I too have purchased a couple from Bill. Really a pleasant person to talk with.
