1947-D Washington Quarter: What is up with this Mint Mark?

I looked up this date in the Red Book and in Breen's Encyclopedia and didn't find any mention of a doubled die. Does anybody know what caused this? Is it a super duper rare new discovery ultra valuable coin?

I received a very short email from Bob Zaps who said this coin wasn't an RPM. I asked what he thought it was. I believe Bob is a good guy who knows his Washington quarters but he isn't the fastest or most prolific email writer and I haven't heard back from him. Are there any more opinions as to what caused this mint mark?

Looks like it's probably ejection doubling. For some reason, probably because the mintmark was punched in by hand, the coins tend to stick to the die while being ejected, and the mintmark is the first (and often only) place where it shows. This is due mainly to the fact that the dies are usually worn to the point where the rest of the details are somewhat smooth, but the mintmark sticks because it is not a beveled, hubbed part of the design.
