Another question on posting pics...???

OK, I learned how to post pics on this site..now does anyone have EZ instructions on how to post them on a registry set?? I have tried but I get error messages. I'm using scans 50K or less...that is the max, right??

Thanks in advance.

When you go into edit set you will get a menu to add new coins to your set. All the way to the right it will say Image and Browse. You can then load the image from your harddrive. You are only allowed one file unlike NGC which allows you to load separate obverse and reverse images. If you want both images too show you will have to combine them both into one file (with photoshop) and maintian the file size to less than 100kb.
  • It's a little tricky, I don't think it is all that obvious at first.
When you go to "edit" your set, select a coin and "edit" it.
Then just to the right of the image filename text box you click on the browse button.
You then select the coin from your PC's hard drive.
You then need to upload the image to PCGS.
Then to save the image for PCGS you need to ensure you click on the "validate" button at the bottom.
They only let you save one image per coin up to 100k. In practice this seems to be about 90k or so max.
I usually shrink mine down to around 86k or so.
I take two images (obv, rev) and combine them into one rectangular image and use that for uploading to PCGS.

Yechhhh...too much work. First of all my images are all around 400K so I'd have to shrink them...then attach them??? MAN, I'd have to go read a manual!! PASS!!image

    thanks anyway.
