Just some pictures that "The Pug" helped me with. In order of appearance:

1912 Matte Lincoln.
1938 Jefferson.
1939 Rev. 1940 Jefferson.
1940 Rev. 1938 Jefferson.
1941 Jefferson.
1942 Type 1 Jefferson.
1950 Jefferson.

Enjoy!!!!image

Those are absolutely gorgeous coins, Al. The '38 is exceptionally clean. The obverse of the '40 seems cameo, does it have the contrast the picture appears to show? And I really like the toning on the '42 Type -- the silver seems to tone nicely, but I haven't seen toning like that on a Type 1. They make a really nice set!!!

The toning on the Lincoln gives it a nice bronze, scupltural quality.

Great coins and great photos! I think the 1912 MP Lincoln is even nicer in person.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • Sweet coins, Al. I love the toning on the 1939 and the 1942.image

Nice coins Al. For those of you that do not already know the 39(rev40) and 40(rev38) are both very tough coins to find. My guesses on grades are 38=67, 39=66, 40=65, 41=66, and 42 = 66vc (very cool). By the way, that 38 looks like it might be breen 2658 (irregular dot).
