Please be on lookout for a PCGS 2c 1872 piece in older pcgs holder MS63 which was stolen from Federal Coin at the ANA show....

Is that Federal Coin and Bullion? Lance Tchor's company?

That suck! I have had coins stolen at other shows. I was warned about the ANA show being a place where coins are stolen.

They are not always reported however.

Glad to hear it all worked out.

First time I met PTVETTER was at a state show. Exchanged some PMs and I told him I'd stop by his table to introduce myself. As I got to his table, there was a security guard there and it was pretty obvious that Pat was upset about something. I thought, "You know, this might not be a good time!" image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Is that Bald Lance with all the little pretty coins?

I'm glad to hear he got it back... (If it is Bald Lance...) he sets up at the local shows around here, and seems to be a very nice guy, and I've yet to hear anything bad about him, well, nothing past grumbling about prices on his coins... and that's come from me too... image

  • Wow - How often do situations like this have happy endings? I wouldn't think too often.......
Don't you know that it's worth
    every treasure on Earth
    to be young at heart?
And as rich as you are,
    it's much better by far,
    to be young at heart!
