I hear that the Sac coinage is very popular in South America and the natives have taken to the coin and like and identify with the Indian likeness. They think we made the coin for them. I haven't seen any around here (central Long Island) since they came out. Do you see many or any in circulation where you live? just curious...

I seem to recall the total number at 500 million, i.e., half of the 2000 production.
I can see it now: Braddick, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses, and a Panama hat, strolling through downtown Quito, in search of the elusive FR02 Sackie...
Hmm! Imagine that.
Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

I was thinking of him when I was doing that exact thing minus the Hawaiian shirt, since it is COLD down there. I got Sacagaweas out the wazoo, all the of them worn down to at least EF. What are the grading standards for them? Maybe we should send all our halves down to Ecuador too - they already use a half dollar down there.
Now, send the Frankies!!!
