Update on this. I emailed the seller and asked her about the coins. See responses below. Looks like she might have gotten duped herself, as she told me that she didn't know they were AT and had picked them up at a garage sale.
I of course recommened she come join these boards as a place to gain coin knowledge and to ask any questions she has.
Response 1: Hi. Thanks for your email. I really don't know what you are talking about i.e. paining... I have been doing some major garage sale hunting this summer and came across a bunch of these coins for a deal. The guy assured me they were real. Now I am mad! I spent a nice chunk of change on these! How can you tell theses are not real? I have a lot more and I need to know in case some are real and some aren't. Thanks for the heads up. I really appreciate it. Response 2: I wanted to let you know that I ended my items early because of your heads up. I really appreciate it! I hope you get back to me on the questions I asked earlier. I will be doing some research on my coins and will be sending some out for grading.
