Well as a few of you know that were on the boards last night I went to a coin show today in highland Indiana.... it was small but there were a few things to be picked from the bunch.... here are a few things I found that are going to hit the RCC, CU or eBay....
1899-O morgan in Fine condition.... I paid $13 and I am more then happy with it.... I can probab. sell much higher.... especally as a nice hole filler.
1841 Large Cent---- its really dirty.... prolly a metal detector find.... I am going to clean with soap and water then sell.... appears full liberty shows as well as reverse (thats looking through the dirty stuff).... paid $7 but will definitly be worth more once I give it a soapy bath.
1849 Large Cent ---- Gouge from ear to fourth star otherwise it appears to be Fine/VF?.... I paid $9 which I think was a real steal.
1864 2 cent piece in good condition on the obverse and prolly vg on the obverse.... paid $10 and even if I don't sell I know I can re-distribute at the show next time..... I pulled this one early on in the day (within 15 minutes of open).
Well thats about the one time items.... besidees that I bought some $2-$5 proof coins and some wheats for examination (4-6 cents each) and some other odds and ends like 40% silver half dollars and merc's.
Well thanks for reading.

NOTE: I actually should not say never.... but trust me soap and water will do this coin good....
It won't damage it at all.... I promise...

If it's a detector find, soap and water won't do you any good.
Try my 'Tater Trick.
(minus the brushing part.)

I actually have used similer methods before...If it is a detector find (rust...err) then I would prolly try something along those lines.... I just want to stay away from the brush as much as possible....
