How many Litesiders can say this...
"I've never met anyone who collects the same set that i'm trying to finish"
Well it's true... i've never met another Early milled 'by date' sixpence collector. Sure i know a few other sixpence collectors most doing late milled, even more doing type sets, but my only competition in my field is from the type collectors.
Which whilst i'm at it leads to a rather interesting fact that i've only just realised.
William and Mary sixpences were issued for 2 dates, 1693 and 1694. The 1694 is much rarer but in top grades it's cheaper than the 1693 (despite the fact that you have to wait years to see one, if ever). The reason is because all the type collectors just think "I'll get the 1693 cos it's easier to get" bam demand... up goes the price and it's just gone past the 1694.![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif)
Funny thing the darkside...

But what would you expect- we spell "realised" with a Z.
<< <i>Not exactly part of the common vernacular on this side of the pond.
But what would you expect- we spell "realised" with a Z.
Don't you mean a "Zed"?
<< <i>A Litesider would also never use the word "whilst".
