The key to any sixpence collection.

And it's just arrived! image

This is actually the third hardest one to get (maybe the second but i certainly haven't seen any 1720 ones).

Here is the pesky 1694 sixpence...

Which means that ignoring the 1693 upside down 3 error variant, i now have a full collection of William and Mary sixpences the 1693 in AEF and this 1694 in about GVF? Dunno i'd say it's between VF and GVF.

The scan makes it look VF, in person it looks more GVF! Call it AGVF! imageimage

Hopefully i'll have a full set of 1674-1694 sixpences by date including overdates. I'll also have most of the 1695-1787 ones too by that point.

I'm now almost 1/3rd of my way through a full 1674-1787 date set of sixpences.

great looking coin. It is a tough one to grade... It looks to be solid VF and GVF is certainly possible
