There are few people in this world that actually spell every word correctly. In this age of software packages that spell check for you, it will only get worse with each generation. However, the number of words that you misspelled in your opening thread place you below average in the area of spelling. You should take it as a challenge to improve. I do not believe I have ever slammed anyone on this forum for poor spelling, but your opening thread specifically brought up the subject and that is why I am responding to it. In your opening thread you had four misspelled words: "wonderen", "alot", "negitive", and "responce". The last three words are commonly misspelled words, so no one should slam you for those. However, the word "wonderen" is not a commonly misspelled word, and since it happens to fall at the beginning of your remarks, it really sticks out.
Now I will respond to your statement... As a member of the forum, I try to be an encouragement to other forum members. Most members of the forum provide degrees of encouragement. You seem to have a chip on your shoulder regarding college guys. Spelling is not a subject I learned in college. I am an engineer by trade. The reports I must read and write are very important to the company that employs me. I try to make sure there are no spelling errors in those reports.
You should try to proofread your posts before posting them. It is a great habit for you and others to get into.
After I wrote this reply, I proofread it and found two spelling errors that I corrected. You see, some spelling errors are simple typographical errors. However, the readers of your posts or the posts of anyone else will not be able to discern if the error was a simple typographical error or a spelling error, so they will assume the worst.
I hope you and others read this thread and take it to heart. How many of you out there read a newspaper and get upset when you see a typographical or spelling error? I see them all the time. It is hard to justify in this day of word processors that automatically check the spelling.
I use all caps in all my thread titles. That's mainly so that when I glance at the page I can quickly spot a thread I started. The fact that it annoys people is just a fringe benefit.

Suppose we all start doing that. Then what's the benefit? I don't usually look at threads typed in all caps.
All caps is tantamount to yelling in a forum. Ever notice the man on the corner that yells all day long at his personal demons? People ignore him because they tune out the yelling. Same here.

It breaks my heart that you don't look at my threads. Just because a group of people arbitrarily decide that they don't like the looks of some style has no effect on my behavior. I am not some sheep that's going to bow to peer pressure.
Actually it's rather tiresome trying to explain this to trend followers, but titles in all caps is an accepted style. Look at book titles, or above to the logo COLLECTORS UNIVERSE. Just because you don't happen to like it makes it no less proper. I suppose you're one of the people that says it's "shouting."
