new red book

I stopped off at the coin shop yesterday picked up the new red book and a few more tex. quarter. I also order a mint roll of keelboat nickels that will be in soon. has anyone here got their new nickels yet.
I've only seen the one that comes in the proof sets but it a great design. I like it much better than the hand shaker nickel.

I have been through the 1000 coin bags of the Keel Boat nickels as well as Mint packaged rolls of them. The P's are total junk. The P Keel boat in the Mint set, however, are spectacular in many cases. The mint set P Keel nickels are obviously made using a different process. I have seen no real difference in the D's. The Mint set D's were no better than the bags or rolls. I would recommend anyone looking for P gems to save your money and stay away from the bags and rolls.

I haven't seen any of the Keel boat in circulation yet, but I too will be purchasing a few uncirculated rolls at the next show, they average about $4.50 each I believe.

I haven't even seen a Peace design in circulation yet! I must live in the wrong area of the country or something.
