Red Book Pricing-How accurate to market?

Picked up my new Red Book yesterday. I've never relied to much on it for pricing as much as I do for great info. Just curious to know from you knowledgable folk just how accurate pricing in the Red Book is compared to a changing market guide such as the greysheet?
Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

The Red book is WAY off on pricing but does have very good information in it no collector or dealer should be without one!
